The Singers Diary

I am so excited to announce that I have been cast to play the role of Reba McEntire in the feature film "The Singers Diary". Reba picked me herself! The movie is biographical and adapted from the stage version Reba herself toured with in 1999. With my debut album "fierce" being released in two weeks (same day as Reba's new album I might add) and production starting on "The Singers Diary" I am one overwhelmed and grateful girl. Here is a picture from my first costume fitting! I'm so excited about this project! I'll keep posting more pictures as we shoot, I will be playing Reba from 18 to the present...unbelievable.

Chelsea Lately

My people had contacted Chelsea's people about me being on the show. I expressed interest in being a guest but...I ended up at the round table. I was fairly quiet the entire time and thankfully they didn't pick on me...too much. Chelsea and her team were wonderful!

MTV Music Awards, Asia

This is me backstage before I presented an award at the MTV Asia Awards in Tokyo last week. My single "One Step" was released a month ago there and has been climbing the charts so they invited me to present. I didn't say much...as I dont speak japanese... I presented the Video of the year and I have no idea who it was that won. Everyone was great to me though! Thank you!

My Debut album...Fierce...In Stores November 9th!!!

This is the first picture in my career that has been taken of me with no make-up, high heels...or my hair did. Funny, nobody ever cared if I wasn't dolled up before I got hitched. Here I am in all my glory, hiding the bags under my eyes and all. They even got a shit of Sean and I getting all kissy face on a corner! This was us last weekend in New York...guess I gotta watch where I shop now. geeze.

This news is the best!! I have tooled around in the studio and one of my tracks got picked up for the soundtrack to that fierce new movie coming out with Cher and Christina Aguilera. NO...I'm not in the movie and NO...my song is not featured in the movie. But some producer somwhere thought it should be on the album. We have released it as a single in Europe and it did really well!! Maybe we will get to in the states...maybe! Heres hoping it gets to play in the credits. The Plastics may not have made it past it's pilot, but after so many things have tanked we find it reason to celebrate to have even been able to shoot the pilot!
