Lola Louise Cummings

January 31st, 1975-August 13th, 2012

It is with deepest sadness that we post onto Lola's website this fatal news. As of this morning it has been confirmed that Lola Cummings and Brandy Beavers were in fact on board Indian Airlines Flight 113 that crashed into a field last night and burst into flames killing 130 people, including Lola and Brandy.

Lola and Brandy were touring India in hopes to gain some inspiration for an upcoming project, a duets pop album. Indian Airlines Flight 113 was a flight operating from Mumbai to Ahmedabad that crashed on its final approach to Ahmedabad airport. The flight was cleared for a visual approach into a foggy Ahmedabad, when it struck trees and a high-tension pylon at a distance of 5 miles from Runway 23, before crashing into a field and bursting into flames.

We are devastated by this news here at Team Lola. We will bring you any other news as it comes to us.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Lola and Brandy's fan's at this times.

Hey everyone,
Crazy year so far huh? I know I appear to be MIA, truth be told, I am. But that is not to say I am not busy. Just to give you an idea, expect some brand new tunes in the fall...but that's all I can say on that for now.
I love you all dearly, have an amazing fun filled summer and I will pop back up around August maybe...
maybe.

Grammy Awards 2012

Of course, some cameras caught me on the way to hair and make-up. And of course... I will post it here for you first. I love before and afters!

It was such an honor to be invited to the awards this year, Brandy and I had a lovely time. The news of Whitney was sad and definitely brought a cloud over the evening but the love for the legend was felt through-out the night.

SPRING 2013

Hair and Make Up

In hair and make-up...again. They should change the name of this movie from "The Singer's Diary" to "Hair and Make-Up". This woman has changed her look through the years so much! It's amazing.

It's Your Call

Brandy Visits

Brandy stopped by the Roy Acuff Theatre to pay a visit during shooting of my current film.

Does He Love You with Linda Davis, CMA Performance 1993

This was a dream come true. I hope the performance turned out nicely because I was nervous the entire time. I mean, it was me and the infamous red dress and there I was ready to film the CMA performance from 1993 of "Does He Love You". I had yet to meet the actress who would be playing Reba's duet partner Linda Davis. And then BAM...there was Linda, looking just like she did 20 years ago! This was amazing.

For My Broken Heart, CMA performance, 1991

We have been filming this past week at the Roy Acuff Theatre in Nashville located in the Opryland Plaza. We have been recreating some of Reba's CMA moment's.

In this shot I am wearing one of Reba's signature gowns that she wore in the early 90's. They were huge! Designed specifically for her by her personal designer Sandy Spika who also recreated mine for the movie. This was for Reba's performance of her single "For My Broken Heart" that she performed at the CMA's in 1991.

I'm featured on the cover of FAME Magazine for February. After my Beyonce tribute performance people have started to notice I'm here! In the article they give a very favorable comparison of me and Lady B.

Save the date, my new book! Jan 31st..."of Love or Lust" hits the shelves!!

It's finally here! After the success of "Kiss & Tell", my sort of memoir I decided to give fiction a try! Well, that and HerStory Books asked me if I was interested, so here it is. Out January 31st my first novel "of Love or Lust". Enjoy!

Steamy Forbidden Passion…

Martin Jerome has been a shadow of his former self ever since he and his new bride were attacked by highwaymen on their wedding night four years before. The dark secrets of that fateful evening have haunted Martin ever since.

A chance meeting with lovely Eswara Paignton opens up a whole new world of passionate possibilities. Eswara, a healer from India, can sense Martin's inner turmoil and despair, and longs to help him heal and be able to love again.

Martin finds himself seeking out the alluring widow's company more and more. Both silently ache for the other. Both know the potential consequences of becoming lovers in their rigid society.

The more they struggle against their attraction, the more certain they become that their explosive passion is truly a gift from the gods. Eswara opens up the world of Tantra to Martin, with the most erotic results. She becomes the model mistress, in bed and out.

Martin aches to be worthy of her in order to marry her. Does Martin dare tell her what REALLY happened the fateful night his wife was killed?

Just when he is about to bare his soul to Eswara, she and her son Ash vanish. Martin is devastated at the loss of the only woman he has ever loved more than life itself, and the young man he has come to look upon as his own. Has Eswara REALLY just tired of their affair, or has the hell he went through four years ago come back to haunt him and destroy his happiness once more.....

THANK YOU!

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are having an amazing New Year! Unfortunately "Diva Bells" was not released on DVD in the U.S. as we had planned. BUT...a live recording was released in Europe! YAY! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the tour over the holidays!
